The LTC5562 is a versatile low power mixer optimized for applications requiring very wide input bandwidth, low distortion, and low LO leakage. This mixer can be used for either upconverting or downconverting applications, and provides a nominal conversion gain of 1dB. Demonstration circuit 2483A-A showcases the LTC5562 mixer for upconverting applications while demonstration circuit 2483A-B is tuned for downconverting applications. The differential inputs are optimized for use with 1:1 transmission- line baluns, allowing very wideband impedance matching. The LTC5562 uses a 3.3V supply for low power consumption and an enable pin allows the part to be shut down for further power savings. The total mixer current is adjustable, allowing for even further power savings. The standard match frequency ranges for each board are outlined in the table below.

The EVAL-AD7380FMCZ and EVAL-AD7381FMCZ are full featured evaluation boards that evaluate all features of the AD7380 and AD7381 analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The evaluation boards can be controlled by the EVAL-SDP-CH1Z via the 160-way system demonstration platform (SDP) connector, J4. The EVAL-SDP-CH1Z board controls the evaluation boards through the USB port of a PC using the Analysis, Control, Evaluation (ACE)software, which is available for download from the ACE software page.

Complete specifications for the AD7380 and AD7381 are provided in the AD7380/AD7381 data sheet. Consult these specifications in conjunction with this user guide when using the evaluation boards. AD9152-EBZ, AD9152-M6720-EBZ and AD9152-FMC-EBZ supports the AD9152 which is a dual, 16-bit, high dynamic range digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that provides a maximum sample rate of 2.25 GSPS, permitting a multicarrier generation up to the Nyquist frequency. The DAC outputs are optimized to interface seam-lessly with the ADRF6720 analog quadrature modulators (AQMs) from Analog Devices, Inc. An optional 3-wire or 4-wire serial port interface (SPI) provides for programming/readback of many internal parameters. Full-scale output current can be programmed over a range of 4 mA to 20 mA.

The EVAL-ADIS system provides a simple, PC-based tool, for evaluating iSensor products, for those who are not ready to integrate them into embedded processor systems. This system supports application software that enable basic demonstration, individual register access and high-speed data capture for each supported device. Each application software package comes with an installation wizard, which facilitates simple installation and also includes a simple USB-driver package that is easy to use. All software packages associated with the EVAL-ADIS are compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7 and provides both 32-bit and 64-bit USB drivers. The EVAL-ADIS circuit board is 0.125” thick, which enables pre-drilled, pre-tapped mounting holes for each iSensor device. The mounting holes accommodate M2x0.4mm machine screws. This kit also includes 5 sets of M2x0.4 machines screws, which provide for the various package thickness and eliminate the need to procure additional hardware. The integrated power system eliminates the need for external power supplies in most cases, but does provide for an external power supply input, for supply-sensitivity testing. The power system uses the USB’s +5V and provides a linear regulator option for +3.3V devices.

65W 19.5V SMPS Evaluation Board with PWM controller ICE3GS03LJG

Universal input power supply designed in a 19.5V 65W off line flyback converter that utilizes the PWM controller ICE3GS03LJG. The application board is operated in discontinuous current mode (DCM) and is running at 130 kHz switching frequency. It has one output voltage with secondary side control regulation. The ICE3GS03LJG is a current mode PWM controller. With the 500V startup cell, active burst mode and BiCMOS technologies, the standby power can be <100mW at no load. The frequency jitter mode and the soft gate drive can give a low EMI performance. The built-in 20ms blanking window and the extendable blanking time approach can prevent the IC from entering the auto restart mode due to over load protection unintentionally. The outstanding propagation delay compensation feature can allow a very precise current limit between low line and high line. For this IC, it provides both auto-restart and latch off protection mode. For those serious faults such as Vcc over-voltage, over temperature, short transformer winding, etc, the IC will enter the latched off protection mode. For those less severe case such as the over load, open loop, Vcc under-voltage & short opto-coupler, it enters the auto restart protection mode. In case it needs customer defined protection, the external latch off enable feature can fulfill the requirement.

The compact Fremont (
MAXREFDES6# ) subsystem reference design ( Figure 1 ) accurately measures low voltage, 0 to 100mV, single-ended analog signals with a high-accuracy, 16-bit  analog front end  (AFE) complete with an isolated data path. The design optimizes the functions of an ultra-precision low-noise buffer ( MAX9632 ); a highly accurate ADC ( MAX11100 ); an ultra-high-precision 4.096V voltage reference ( MAX6126 ); a 600VRMS monolithic data isolator ( MAX14850 ); and low-dropout ( LDO ) regulators providing regulated +6V, +5V, and -5V power rails ( MAX1659  and MAX1735 ). This one-of-a-kind AFE solution works in many applications requiring low-voltage input,  high impedance , and high-accuracy analog-to-digital conversion.Smart factories, industrial, and medical applications continue to utilize more sensors, of various configurations. While low-voltage sensors provide essential data, they also require/generate high signal-to-noise ratios, rendering many discrete and integrated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) insufficient for these applications.
