Evaluation Board developed for 1ED44176N01F - EiceDRIVER™ 25 V low-side gate driver with integrated over-current protection (OCP) and enable/ fault output indication. The board contains one comparator, which is designed as a pulse generator, and one 1ED44176N01F to drive a SOT235-package MOSFET switch connected with an adjustable resistance load (potentiometer-R3).The MOSFET controls the turn-on or turn-off of the resistance load. Rotating the potentiometer, changes the loop current when the MOSFET is on, then gets the different voltage on the shunt resistor (R7). The two LEDs on the board show the different working status of 1ED44176N01F. If the green LED lights up, the 1ED44176N01F is working in normal operation mode. If the red LED lights up, the 1ED44176N01F is in fault condition mode.

EVAL-1ED44176N01F is available from Infineon in sampling quantities.

The MAX197 evaluation system (EV system) is a complete, low-cost, 8-channel data-acquisition system consisting of a MAX197 evaluation kit (EV kit) and a Maxim 80C32 or 68HC16 microcontroller (µC) module. IBM® PC compatible software provides a handy user interface to demonstrate the MAX197's many features. Source code is provided.

The MAX197 EV kit requires a single +5V supply and includes optional input buffer amplifiers that operate with ±15V supplies.

The MAX197 EV kit and EV system evaluate both the MAX197 and the MAX199. To evaluate the MAX199, order a sample of the MAX199 along with the MAX197 EV kit.

The MAX1999 evaluation kit (EV kit) demonstrates the MAX1999's standard application circuit. This DC-DC converter steps down high-voltage batteries and/or AC adapters, generating system supplies for notebook computers. The MAX1999 EV kit provides dual 5V and 3.3V output voltages from a 7V to 24V battery input range. It delivers up to 5A output current for the 5V output and 5A for the 3.3V output with greater than 90% efficiency. The EV kit operates at 200kHz/300kHz switching frequency (5V/3.3V, respectively) and has superior line-and-load- transient response.

This EV kit is a fully assembled and tested circuit board. It allows the evaluation of other output voltages in the 2V to 5.5V range by changing feedback resistors R1-R4.

This EV kit can also be used to evaluate the MAX1777 (200kHz/5.0V SMPS and 300kHz/3.3V SMPS) and the MAX1977 (400kHz/5.0V SMPS and 500kHz/3.3V SMPS).

All these industrial applications require a high performance, robust, configurable solution, which Go-IO provides using a modular approach. Go-IO has four different boards. The different configurations provide a varying mix of type of I/O channels and communication interfaces to target different end applications.

The MCP7386X Evaluation Board is set up to evaluate simple, stand-alone, linear charging of single/dual cell Lithium-Ion/Lithium-Polymer battery packs (the battery packs are not included). The board design provides constant current charging followed by constant voltage charging with automatic charge termination. As provided, the MCP7386X Evaluation Board is set for a fast charge current level of 1.1A for single cell applications. The MCP73861 is equipped with shutdown control, status indicator, fault indicator, safety timer, and continuous cell temperature monitor. For dual cell applications, the MCP73862 or the MCP73864 can be substituted for the MCP73861.

The MCP73871 Demo Board with Voltage Proportional Current Control is designed to demonstrate Microchip's stand-alone linear Li-Ion battery charger with system power path and load sharing management control solution. The MCP73871 integrates the required elements to meet design challenges when developing new Li-Ion / Li-Polymer batteries powered products.

The MCP73871 Demo Board with Voltage Proportional Current Control is designed to deliver minimum 1.5A total current to system load and to a single cell Li-Ion battery at 4.2V preset voltage regulation (4.1V, 4.35V and 4.4V options are also available for MCP73871). The board has a dip switch helping to decides the input power source between AC-DC wall adapter and USB port (AC/USB) and control input current limits, enable charge timer and enable charging.

The MCP73871 Demo Board with Voltage Proportional Current Control comes with a factory preset low-battery indicator (LBO) when input is absent. The preset value is 3.2V and STAT1 LED (green) with turn ON if the battery voltage is below the threshold voltage.
