The PIC32 Audio Codec Daughter Board AC320100 is a high-performance stereo codec board for selected PIC32 hardware development platforms. This board features the AKM AK4642EN stereo codec, which includes built-in microphone and headphone amplifiers. This board is suitable for adding audio input and output capabilities to the PIC32 Bluetooth Starter Kit (DM320018), and is compatible with the PIC32 Bluetooth Audio Development Kit (DV320032).

This design demonstrates power sequencing for the 66AK2Ex and AM5K2Ex families of KeyStone II ARM+DSP and ARM-only multicore processors by use of the UCD9090. The UCD9090 is a 10-rail PMBus/I2C addressable power-supply sequencer and monitor. The UCD9090 provides both sequence and timing of the power supply enables. This design shows a power sequencing implementation specific to the K2E EVM platform.

В данном проекте цифровым контроллером преобразователя с коррекцией коэффициента мощности является микроконтроллер (MCU) TMS320F28035 семейства C2000™ Piccolo™, управляющий двумя повышающими силовыми каскадами, которые и образуют безмостовой преобразователь с PFC. Поочерёдно задействуя данные каскады во время циклов положительного и отрицательного переменного напряжения электросети, микроконтроллер Piccolo выполняет как выпрямление переменного тока в постоянный, так и управление коэффициентом мощности. КПД данного проекта на полной нагрузке превышает 93%, а коэффициент мощности превышает 0,98 при нагрузке 50% и выше.

This design is a digitally controlled 300W resonant LLC half-bridge DC/DC converter with added synchronous rectification. The resonant LLC power topology is valued for its inherently high levels of efficiency credited to high frequency, low loss resonant switching. However, implementation of such a power converter can be challenging since the control theory is based in frequency modulation of the converter rather than the more typically seen duty cycle modulation. This design guides users step-by-step through the complexities of a resonant LLC half-bridge converter, melding software and hardware design approaches to implement a complete high performance converter. The C2000™ Piccolo™ microcontroller is the digital controller for this design, enabling the resonant converter to operate at greater than 90% efficiency across wide load ranges, and with peak efficiency greater than 93%.

This Verified TI Precision Design implements a low-drift, bi-directional, low-side, single-supply current sensing solution that measures load currents from -2.5 A to +2.5 A. The output range is from 250 mV to 2.75 V, with 0 A current centered at 1.5 V. To achieve low-drift performance, the solution utilizes the INA213B and REF2030. The design’s functionality and performance were verified by fabricating a PCB and measuring results over temperature from -40 °C to 125 °C.
