The PMP4494 is a 5V to 3.3V 1.2A DC-DC converter with a Vout hold-up circuit. The synchronous buck converter LM20242 is used in the design to provide high efficiency for the system voltage. A boost converter TPS61170 boosts an auxiliary rail from 10V up to 20V to provide the backup voltage. A supply voltage supervisor TLV809 monitors the system voltage and switches the supply to the backup voltage once the system voltage falls below the threshold voltage. Along with the boost circuit, the hold-up capacitance is significantly reduced while still meeting the 200mS hold-up time specification.

The TIDA-00403 reference design uses off-the-shelf EVMs for ultrasonic distance measurement solutions using algorithms within the TLV320AIC3268 miniDSP. In conjunction with TI’s PurePath Studio design suite, a robust and user configurable ultrasonic distance measurement system can be designed with the click of a mouse. The ultrasonic burst generation characteristics as well as detection algorithms can be user modified to fit specific use cases in industrial and measurement applications allowing users to overcome the limitations of other fixed function sensors while simultaneously increasing reliability of the measurements. Two GPIOs on the TLV320AIC3268 are automatically triggered indicating a transmitted and received ultrasonic burst. With a host MCU monitoring these GPIOs, the time of flight can be extracted.

TIDA-00858 реализует новый подход к полномостовым выпрямителям. Этот модуль заменяет диоды на 4 n-канальных транзисторных MOSFET и управляется контроллером LM74670-Q1 в конфигурации полномостового выпрямителя. Решение LM74670-Q1 с нулевым током потребления является весьма эффективной заменой диодов с потерями.

Модуль преобразует до 45 В переменного напряжения в напряжение постоянного тока без использования диодов. LM74670-Q1 может работать с переменным входным напряжением частотой до 300 Гц и до 100 А выходного тока. При этом он выделяет меньше тепла по сравнению с выпрямителями на основе диодов Шоттки.

The K2E devices require power supplies to be sequenced in a proper order. This design demonstrates power sequencing for the 66AK2Ex and AM5K2Ex families of KeyStone II ARM+DSP and ARM-only multicore processors by use of the UCD9090. The UCD9090 is a 10-rail PMBus/I2C addressable power-supply sequencer and monitor. The UCD9090 provides both sequence and timing of the power supply enables. This design shows a power sequencing implementation specific to the K2E EVM platform.
